Richmond Aqueduct Ruins

The Richmond Aqueduct is the second longest of the Erie Canal Aqueducts. It is located in Montezuma, New York; for more information visit Town of Montezuma/Park Additional information can be found at Traces of the Erie Canal. Also, visit AllTrails to check out the trails; we followed the Byron Lapp Memorial Trail. This was a great area for birding; we were able to identify 10 bird species, two were new to us. We could have easily spent more time here. (Click on any photo to enlarge)
