Black Hawk State Historic Site
The Black Hawk Museum was very interesting and educational. We learned about what life was like in this area and the Sauk and Meskwaki Indians. Saukenuk, the capital of the Sauk Nation stood adjacent to this museum and was the westernmost battle site of the Revolutionary War. Black Hawk was a famous Sauk Warrior.
